Where the Money Goes

Maggie
Maggie, Kick for Dana-Farber's Patient Partner

Maggie, Kick for Dana-Farber's Patient Partner, is a spunky, friendly four year old who doesn't let cancer hold her back. She attends pre-K at Lil Munchkins in Scituate, where she lives with her mom, Caroline, her dad, Tom and her two younger brothers, Connor and baby Charlie.

She was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) in September of 2015 and has been treated by an incredible team of doctors and nurses at Dana-Farber's Jimmy Fund Clinic ever since. In total, she faces 24 months of treatment for ALL and she looks forward to completing it in the fall.

As her strength has returned, Maggie has enjoyed returning to the things she loves: playing soccer, doing gymnastics, dancing Irish step, drawing and helping her mom in the kitchen. She loves playing outside on her swing set and is thrilled to finally be able to pump on the swings-almost high enough to touch the sky! When she grows up, she'd like to be a nurse or a teacher. Maggie and her family are so thankful for your efforts on behalf of the Kick for Dana-Farber program. Your unwavering support enables them to continue to provide world-class, lifesaving care to Maggie and so many others.
